Alpine troops present in various theatres: Italian General

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, APR 27 - "The Alpine Troops, like the
entire Italian army, are present in various national and
international contexts where Italy has decided to deploy its
contingents and where Italian units are involved," Alpine Troops
Command Chief of Staff General Matteo Spreafico said today in
Udine.
"Within the national territory, we are engaged in the 'Secure Streets' operation," Spreafico explained, "while on the international front, we are currently deployed in various theatres that cover almost all continents." (ANSA).
