250 migrants turned away at the Latvian-Belarusian border

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, AUG 23 - Since the beginning of the week,
the Latvian border guard has turned away 250 irregular migrants
from Belarus. The total number of rejections since January has
reached 6,277. The increase in border crossing attempts prompted
the Interior Ministry in Riga to increase the number of
personnel stationed at the border last week. (ANSA).
