Latvia, Evika Silina accepts mandate to form the government
Consultations to begin tomorrow

(ANSA) - VILNIUS, 24 AGO - Latvia's President Edgars
Rinkevics this morning entrusted former Welfare Minister Evika
Silina with the task of forming a new government.
Silina accepted the mandate and announced that she intends to
begin consultations with potential coalition partners (United
List, National Alliance, Progressives, and the Union of Greens
and Farmers) tomorrow.
Silina has, in addition, communicated that she hopes to form
the new government by mid-September. (ANSA).
