Eni said Thursday it planned to give
shares to its employees in Italy.
The Italian energy giant said that Eni's Shareholders' Meeting,
which will be held on 15 May, will examine a plan for widespread
share ownership.
This "will be initially implemented for employees in Italy and
then gradually extended to foreign companies, compatibly with
national legislation, with the aim of strengthening their sense
of belonging to the company and participation in the growth of
corporate value, in line with shareholders' interests", said
Eni.
The Plan envisages two annual allocations (in 2024 and 2025) of
free shares for an individual annual monetary value of EUR
2,000.
