EU summit debates on ex premier and
ex ECB chief Mario Draghi possibly being tapped as next European
Commission chief are "philosophy", Premier Giorgia Meloni said
after the EU summit in Brussels Thursday.
"What interest me is that both Draghi and Enrico Letta, who are
considered two pro-Europeans, tell us that Europe must be
changed," she said.
Draghi presented a hotly anticipated report on boosting EU
competitiveness this week, while Letta filed one on the reform
of the Single Market.
