Italian tennis sensation Jannik
Sinner eased into the semi-finals of the Miami Open on
Wednesday, beating Czech Tomas Machac 6-4, 6-2.
The world number three will face Daniil Medvedev in the last
four.
It will be rematch of this year's Australian Open final, which
Sinner won after coming back from two sets down, and last year's
final in Miami, in which the Russian prevailed.
In the women's doubles, Italians Jasmine Paolini and Sara Errani
are also in the semis thanks to a 6-2 6-2 victory over Ekaterina
Alexandrova and Irina Khromacheva.
They will face Americans Sofia Kenin and Bethanie Mattek-Sands
next.
