Some 15 migrants who hijacked a
Turkish ship off Naples used knives to overpower the 22-man
crew, sources said Friday after Italian special forces retook
the vessel.
The migrants were clandestines who were hidden aboard the ship
that was heading for France.
The captain sounded the alarm and phoned for rescue services.
The Guardia di Finanza tax police and port authority ensured
safety at sea while the special forces intervened directly on
board the ship.
