One of Italy's last remaining
COVID-19 measures, the obligation to wear facemasks on trains,
metros, buses and in hospitals and care homes, expires on
September 30.
Then on October 31 the obligation to wear facemasks at
workplaces where social distancing is no possible, and, in
certain situations, for employers to measure staff's temperature
on the way in, will expire too.
The obligation for health staff, patients and visitors to have
the Green Pass, which shows a person is vaccinated for the
coronavirus or has tested negative in the last few days, will
remain until the end of the year.
