The risk of the Middle East (ME) conflict widening is "very present", President Sergio Mattarella said in Sofia Wednesday after talks with Bulgarian President Rumen Radev.
"We talked about the dramatic humanitarian crisis in Gaza, about the risk of the conflict spreading: a risk that is dramatically present," said the Italian head of State.
"And we talked about the only possible solution, which is that of 'two states and two peoples'.
"We must find a way to define a stable condition of peace".
