Italian GDP will rise by around 1%
this year, Bank of Italy Governor Ignazio Visco said in his last
annual Final Considerations on Wednesday.
"For 2023 the forecasts available today converge on an increase
of gross domestic product of 1%, he said.
He said there were "encouraging signs in the economy, which must
be reinforced, overcoming those delays that still prevent our
economy from fully expressing its potential".
