Italian police have wound up probes
into 33 people in a massive phone fraud and the suspects are now
facing charges, judicial sources said Tuesday.
The fraud, which hit major providers like WindTre and Vodafone,
involved making people pay for services they never received,
including games, ringtones and horoscopes, police said.
Customers were defrauded a total of 99 million euros in the
case, police said.
