(ANSA) - ROME, MAR 1 - A 'solidarity wall' has been put up at
the Ukraine Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai where hundreds of
messages of sympathy, support and prayer have already been
posted in the wake of Russia's invasion of the country.
"Be strong", "the whole world is with you", "you are in our
hearts", "you are not alone", "let us pray for peace" and "stop
the war" are just some of the post-it messages on the wall, in
English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese,
Japanese, Cyrillic, and many other languages.
Only a few criticise Russia and President Vladimir Putin, since
there is enough hatred and division already, said officials.
Solidarity came from Italy, Poland, France, Germany, India,
Argentina, Vietnam, and many other countries.
A female visitor got emotional seeing all the messages on the
wall. "May God bless them," she said.
The official Instagram account of the Pavilion said "Thank you
to the world community for supporting Ukraine with prayer and
words of support inside the Pavilion". (ANSA).
