Go!2025 promotes both countries: Slovenia's Culture minister
Moment of union between these two cities, Italy's Sangiuliano

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, MAR 20 - At the conclusion of a bilateral
meeting with the Italian Minister of Culture Gennaro Sangiuliano
in Nova Gorica (Slovenia) today, the Slovenian Minister of
Culture Asta Vrecko stated that Italy and Slovenia intend to
promote the European capital of culture Nova Gorica-Gorizia 2025
(Go!2025) as a project of national importance. Vrecko added that
Go!2025 will highlight the role of both countries "in new
European and international contexts" and highlight "the
coexistence in these two cities."
The visit to Gorizia and Nova Gorica (Slovenia) "represents a
moment in which we want to highlight the appointment of the
European Capital of Culture, plural, which represents a moment
of union between these two cities," said Italian Culture
Minister Gennaro Sangiuliano. (ANSA).
