EU passed changes to Slovakia's green transition aid map
The EC raised the cap on amounts for investments in many areas

(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, 17 FEB - The EC gave the green light to
amend Slovakia's 2022-2027 regional aid map. The European
executive announced this decision in a statement.
The approved amendment allows increasing the maximum amounts of investment aid in some areas of the regions of Západné Slovensko (from 30 percent to 40 percent), Stredné Slovensko (from 40 percent to 50 percent), and Vìchodné Slovensko (from 50 percent to 60 percent).
These territories were deemed eligible for support from the Just Transition Fund according to the territorial plans for the Slovakia Fund, approved by the Commission on November 22, 2022.
