(ANSA) - BELGRADE, MAR 6 - Incumbent President Milo
Djukanovic ranks first on the ballot for the presidential
elections in Montenegro scheduled for March 19. That is what
emerged from the draw carried out today in the headquarters of
the National Election Commission in Podgorica. Following
Djukanovic are the other candidates: Jakov Milatovic, vice
president of the Europe Now Movement (PES); Andrija Mandic,
leader of the Democratic Front (DF); Jovan Radulovic,
independent candidate; Goran Danilovic, representative of United
Montenegro; Aleksa Becic, president of the Democrats, and
Draginja Vuksanovic Stankovic, Social Democrat MP (SDP).
According to the latest polls, the new president will hardly be
already elected in the first round, and a runoff will be
necessary after two weeks. Milo Djukanovic and Andrija Mandi are
the favorites. (ANSA).
