International focus on the Balkans at Polis Teatro Festival

Ravenna, with its precious cultural heritage, becomes from May 2 to May 7 the stage of the 'Polis Teatro Festival,' which, in its sixth edition, strengthens its vocation as a contemporary theater festival with an international focus on the Balkans and an extraordinary epilogue in collaboration with Ravenna Festival on June 10 and 11.

The new edition, featuring more than 25 events taking place at several venues, such as Teatro Rasi, Artificerie Almagia', Mar - City Art Museum, Teatro Socjale di Piangipane, and Teatro Alighieri, focuses on the protagonists of the contemporary European scene, thus encouraging dialogue between cultures and different generations of artists, scholars, and audience. The artistic direction is by Davide Sacco and Agata Tomsic/ErosAntEros.
