(ANSA) - BELGRADE, SEP 14 - "There are richer nations where
fewer children are born; we must mobilise resources to support
the family as it is; Hungary is a perfect example," said Giorgia
Meloni, the Italian Prime Minister, at the Budapest Demographic
Summit. "The Pope said the same thing during his pastoral
visit," she added. "Hungary's example demonstrates that things
can change if we have the courage to make the necessary
decisions and investments," Meloni noted. "In Hungary they
managed to stop the trend the birth rate is declining, jobs have
increased, and female employment has also increased," she
underlined. (ANSA).
