According to a statement released
by the company today, the Lufthansa Group saw a marked
improvement in its first-quarter 2023 performance over the same
period in the previous year. The reason for this was the
ongoing, high demand for airline tickets, particularly in the
private travel market.
The Group increased its revenues by 40 percent to 7.0 billion
euros (previous year: 5.0 billion euros). The net loss decreased
by 20 percent to -467 million euros (previous year: -584 million
euros).
