(ANSA) - BERLIN, MAR 7 - "The integration of the six Western
Balkan countries into Europe is strategically significant for my
government. I hope to greet you soon in Europe". German
Chancellor Olaf Scholz said in a press conference in Berlin with
Albanian premier Edi Rama.
Scholz thanked Rama for the invitation to Albania for next October 16, on the occasion of a new meeting of the so-called "Berliner Prozess" on the European integration of the Balkans, which will take place for the first time in the region. "Germany remains a reliable partner on the path to EU membership," he added. (ANSA).
