Ukraine: Baltics, Poland coordinate parliamentary activity

A joint statement was signed

(ANSA) - VILNIUS, 16 GEN - The Speakers of the Parliaments of Lithuania (Viktorija Čmilytė-Nielsen), Estonia (Jüri Ratas), Latvia (Edvards Smiltēns), and Poland (Elżbieta Witek) signed a joint statement today in Warsaw.

The document envisages common directives to develop inter-parliamentary and diplomatic cooperation concerning the changed political situation after the Russian aggression on Ukraine.

The statement also envisages the intensification of relations between Parliaments and the coordination of support actions for Ukraine. The meeting focused on parliamentary diplomacy regarding international politics, security, defense, and economic and energy cooperation. (ANSA).
