(ANSA) - TRIESTE, 16 FEB - An earthquake of magnitude 4.9 was
recorded in Croatia, with its epicenter near Rijeka/Fiume. The
Civil Protection of Friuli Venezia Giulia announced. The quake
was also felt in FVG. In Trieste, several people left the
buildings and poured into the streets.
According to the preliminary data of the regional civil protection, the earthquake occurred at 10.47, about 21 km away from the city of Rijeka/Fiume. (ANSA).
