(ANSA) - ROME, SEP 25 - A Czech man arrested Sunday after
climbing a Florence stature naked apart from the word censored
written on his back will go on trial on November 30 for damaging
monuments and public indecency.
The man, Vaclav Pisvejc, was released Monday and has been
ordered to report to police once a week until he goes on trial.
He scaled Baccio Bandinelli's famed Hercules and Cacchus statue,
which flanks a copy of Michelangelo's David in front of Palazzo
Vecchio, during the cancer charity footrace event "Run for
Life". (ANSA).
