Exor said Tuesday that it has chosen
Gianluca Ferrero, a highly respected manager, accountant and
auditor, to be the new president of Serie A giants Juventus
after Andrea Agnelli resigned as president on Monday along with
the rest of the board of directors.
The Turin giants said Agnelli, vice president Pavel Nedved and
the other directors had resigned over "pending legal and
technical/accounting matters".
CEO Maurizio Arrivabene also resigned but was asked to stay on
until a new board could be appointed.
Prosecutors in the northern Italian city are investigating
allegations that the club presented false information to
investors about its accounts in the 2019-2021 period.
