There have been 43,084 new cases of
COVID-19 in Italy in the last 24 hours, and 177 more victims
with the virus, the health ministry said Tuesday.
That compares to 11,976 new cases and 113 more victims Monday.
Some 272,495 more tests have been done, compared to 75,602
Monday.
The positivity rate is steady at 15.8%.
Intensive care cases are down eight to 331 and hospital
admissions down 236 to 8,816.
The currently positive are 1,018,327, down 35,840 on Monday.
The recovered and discharged are 20,176,727, up 78,741 on
Monday.
The case tally since the start of the pandemic is 21,368,480,
and the death toll 173,426.
