An operation by special forces from
Italy's crack San Marco Brigade to free a Turkish ship hijacked
by migrants off Naples is ongoing, Defence Minister Guido
Crosetto said Friday.
"The operation is still in progress, it is not a big ship, but
our special forces, which are the men of the San Marco battalion
stationed in Brindisi, are still cleaning up", said Crosetto,
interviewed by veteran TV host Bruno Vespa in the Forum in
Masseria for an update on the intervention of Italian special
forces to free the Turkish ship that ended up in the hands of
illegal immigrants off the coast of Naples.
