AS Roma ended Napoli's perfect start to the Serie A season, holding Luciano Spalletti's men to a goalless draw at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday.
The Naples side remain at the top of the standing but they are now level on 25 points from nine games with AC Milan, who won 4-2 at Bologna on Saturday.
Roma are nine points off the pace in fourth place.
The 'derby of Italy' at the San Siro between Inter and Juventus ended 1-1 after a soft late penalty converted by Paulo Dybala enabled the visitors to cancel out Edin Dzeko's first-half goal for Inter.
Champions Inter are third with 18 points while Juve are sixth with 15.
