Kosovo: another day of protest in north, Serbs gathering
NATO urged Pristina to de-escalate

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, JUN 1 - Ctizens of northern Kosovo are
again protesting against the takeover of municipal buildings in
Zvecan, Zubin Potok, and Leposavic by Kosovo's special units and
police, local media report today. KFOR has been present in front
of the municipalities in the north, inhabited mostly by Serbs,
since Monday. This morning, citizens gathered again in protest,
and workers from the institutions joined them in front of the
municipalities. The situation in northern Kosovo remains tense,
and NATO has urged the institutions in Kosovo to de-escalate
immediately and call on all parties to resolve the situation
through dialogue. (ANSA).
