Ukraine expects a positive EU positive response in October

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, SEP 26 - "We hope that the EU Commission
will take note of Ukraine's achievements as a candidate for the
European Union: we anticipate a positive response by the end of
October," said Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze, President of
Ukraine's Parliamentary Commission for EU Integration, speaking
at the conference "Ukraine in the European Union: the Time to
Act," organised by the Polish and Ukrainian embassies in Rome.
"However, it will be up to EU members' initiative to open new
negotiations by the end of the year," she added. (ANSA).
