Cargo with grain leaves Ukrainian Black Sea port

Kyiv last month announced a 'humanitarian corridor'

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, SEP 19 - According to The Guardian, a grain-carrying cargo vessel has left the Ukrainian Black Sea port of Chornomorsk for the first time since a grain deal fell through. Ukraine announced last month a "humanitarian corridor" in the Black Sea to free ships trapped in its ports since the beginning of the war in February 2022 and to avoid a de facto blockade after Russia abandoned a deal to allow Kyiv to export grain.
