UN doesn't decide world's fate anymore:Lithuania's former FM

Public debates a "rhetorical contests of leaders"

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, SEP 20 - The UN and the General Assembly are "no longer the place where the fate of the world is decided, where military conflicts or raging aggressors are stopped," said on X the former Lithuanian Minister of Defence and former Minister of Foreign Affairs Linas Linkevicius. "Public debates- like rhetorical contests of leaders, after which everyone will fall apart, and the world will not become better.
