(ANSA) - BELGRADE, SEP 4 - "I'm always moved by the words of
Robert Schuman, an ardent European and founding figure of our
Union. He dreamt of lasting peace and cooperation among European
nations" and "this dream is our reality today," the President of
the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen said on Twitter
today. "His legacy continues to live in each and everyone of
us," she added. Today the EU commemorates the 60th anniversary
of the passing of Robert Schuman. (ANSA).
