(ANSA) - UDINE, 08 SET - Friuli Venezia Giulia is a workshop
on innovative practices to address and reduce chronic stress in
healthcare workers. The results of the work undertaken will be
presented in Vienna on September 20 at the opening of the 29th
Conference of the International HPH Network.
This project places Friuli Venezia Giulia at the
international forefront in the innovation of cultural paradigms
adopted to solve health problems. "Taking care of those who take
care of us" is the course title organized and promoted by the
HPH (Health Promoting Hospitals & Health Services) network that
FVG's Central Health Directorate has entrusted to ARCS, the
Regional Health Coordination Agency.
"To solve the crisis in the health care system," says Joseph
Polimeni, director general of ARCS, "we need resources, but we
first need to re-care for health care workers who are constantly
and daily living in a condition of chronic stress further
burdened by the legacy of the pandemic.
The HPH network, which has Friuli Venezia Giulia as the
national coordinator for Italy, has a mandate from the WHO to
design health service reengineering systems to make them more
responsive to citizens' health needs and requirements. (ANSA).
