INAIL said Wednesday that it received
595,569 reports of workplace accidents in the January-October
period, an increase of 32.9% with respect to the first 10 months
of 2021.
The national labour accidents and illness insurance agency added
that 909 of those accidents were fatal, a drop of 10.6% on the
equivalent period last year.
It said it received 50,013 reports of work-related illness, a
rise of 10.2% on the 2021 January-October period.
