Fines for anti-vaxxers over the age
of 50 who have failed to get their COVID jabs are set to kick in
next month, parliamentary sources said Wednesday.
They join existing fines for anti-vaxxers over the age of 60.
Friuli, Calabria and Abruzzo were said to have the highest
percentage of anti-vaxxers in Italy.
The sanctions are triggered because of deadlines set to justify
non-compliance with the vaccination obligation due to health
reasons, such as having contracted Covid during that period.
The 180 day limit set to justify non-fulfilment of the vaccine
mandate has expired.
