There have been 31,703 new cases of
COVID-19 in Italy in the last 24 hours, and 145 more victims
with the virus, the health ministry said Wednesday.
That compares to 43,084 new cases and 177 more victims Tuesday.
Some 201,509 more tests have been done, compared to 272,495
Tuesday.
The positivity rate is down from 15.8% to 15.7%.
Intensive care cases are down 10 to 321 and hospital admissions
down 224 to 8,592.
The currently positive are 969,830, down 48,497 on Tuesday.
The recovered and discharged are 20,256,778, up 80,051 on
Tuesday.
The case tally since the start of the pandemic is 21,400,179,
and the death toll 173,571.
