The Milan stock exchange got off to a
good start on Monday, opening up 1.47% with the main Ftse Mib
index at 26.273 points.
The positive opening came after Friday's slump driven by new
contagion fears following the collapse of several US banks and
concerns over Credit Suisse.
Paris opened up 1.27%, Frankfurt gained 1.18% and London rose by
0.95%.
