Premier Giorgia Meloni understands
the pain of Ukrainians, a senior advisor to Ukrainian President
Volodymyr Zelensky told ANSA Friday.
Mykhailo Podolyak said he had been "very impressed" by Meloni
and said her words on the situation in Ukraine "express a
correct emotion which sometimes if lacking in the world today,a
true emotion, of suffering.
And also an emotion that shows an understanding of of the pain
in which the Ukrainian people finds itself today. And this is
very important."
Podolyak stressed the "sympathy and profundity" shown by Meloni
"in grasping the nature of this war".
