A 49-year-old woman was hit and killed
by a car on the Lungotevere Flaminio Tiber riverbank on Sunday
evening, sources said Monday.
The accident happened at around 20:15.
The 68-year-old make driver stopped and tried to assist the
woman.
She died shortly after arriving in hospital.
An autopsy has been ordered.
The car has been impounded.
